Four Great Vows (Theravada's):
1. Renouncing monetary possessions to preserve a organ;
2. Renouncing organs to preserve a one's life;
3. Renouncing one's whole life to preserve the Dhamma.
4. Preserving the Dhamma until the Dhamma arrived up.
Four Great Vows (Mahayana's):
1. Sentient beings are innumerable; I vow to save them all.
2. Our evil desires are inexhaustible; I vow to quench them all.
3. the Teachings of Buddha are immeasurable; I vow to study them all.
4. the Way to Buddhahood is unexcelled; I vow to attain the Path Sublime.
